ALLIANCE Hockey Announces Officiating Selections for 2016 Telus Cup Central Region Midget AAA Championships
Stratford, ON - ALLIANCE Hockey is pleased to announce that Officials Chad Drown (Waterloo) and Craig Dease (Sarnia) have been selected to officiate in the 2016 TELUS Cup Central Region Midget AAA Championship in Waterloo from March 28-April 3, 2016.   

The Officiating Staff for the event will be comprised of two(2) Referees from each of the four(4) OHF Member Partners (ALLIANCE, GTHL, OMHA, NOHA) and HEO.

Congratulations also to the following linesmen have been selected from ALLIANCE Hockey for the event:

About the Telus Cup Regional Midget AAA Championships

Since 1974, the best minor hockey teams in the country have gathered to compete for Canada's National Midget Championship; TELUS Cup. Alumni includes names like Sidney Crosby, Patrick Roy, Daniel Brière, Wendel Clark, and Steve Yzerman.   

This year Waterloo hosts the Central Region qualifier.  The tournament will be held at the Waterloo Recreation Complex from March 28, to April 3, 2016.   

League champions from the Northern Ontario Hockey Association, Greater Toronto Hockey League, Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario, Hockey Eastern Ontario, Ontario Minor Hockey Association, and the host team the Waterloo Wolves all meet to decide the Central Region champion.   

The winners of Atlantic Region, West Region, Pacific Region, and Quebec Region meet the winner of the Central Region to compete in the TELUS Cup Championships held in New Brunswick later this spring.
