2017 ALLIANCE Hockey MD Midget Championships Conclude in Kitchener
Stratford, ON - The 2017 ALLIANCE Hockey MD Midget Championships took place March 3-5 in Kitchener, ON.  All six Midget MD teams competed in the tournament round robin, followed by quarter and semi finals and then the Tier 1 and 2 Championship games on the Sunday.

The Cambridge Hawks and the Waterloo Wolves each finished atop their respective divisions following round robin play, providing both teams with a bye into the Semi Finals.  The Quarter Final match ups saw the Kitchener Jr. Rangers narrowly defeating the North London Nationals by a score of 3-2 and the West London Hawks defeating the London Bandits 12-2.

The Tier 1 Final featured the Waterloo Wolves and the Cambridge Hawks, while the Tier 2 Final featured the Kitchener Jr. Rangers and the West London Hawks.

The Final match ups proved to be very exciting with the Waterloo Wolves eventually capturing the Tier 1 title and the Kitchener Jr. Rangers capturing the Tier 2 Final.
