Minor Midget AAA All-Star Game Ends in OT Thriller
Woodstock, ON - The 2018 ALLIANCE Hockey Pro Hockey Life Minor Midget AAA All-Star game was held on Sunday, December 2nd in Woodstock, ON.  The game was a true nail-biter and it took overtime for Team Navy to eventually defeat Team White

Both teams got off to a great start and showed their offensive prowess with a total of 5 first period goals but it was Team White with the edge leading 3-2 heading into the second period.  The second period saw the offensive streak continue with another 5 goals total to end it tied 5-5.  The third period featured end-to-end action and some great goaltending from both teams.  Each team netted one more goal forcing the game into a 5 minute overtime period.  With just under 2 minutes remaining in the extra period, Team Navy was awarded a penalty shot.  London's Brett Harrison capitalized on the opportunity and ended the contest leading Team Navy to capture the title of 2018 Minor Midget AAA All-Star Champions!  Overall, it was a fantastic game and both teams provided the fans with an entertaining game.

The ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Midget AAA regular season will resume on December 4th and continue until January  27, 2018.  The ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Midget AAA Playdowns will then begin January 28th with the eventual ALLIANCE Champs earning a berth in the OHL Cup (along with 2 finalists and possibly a wild card entry) which will be hosted by t
he GTHL, scheduled from March 12-18, 2019.
