2017 OHF High Performance 1 Clinics - Dates Announced
Cambridge, ON - The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) will be hosting two High Performance 1 (HP1) Coaches Clinics this summer, to help meet the requirements of Hockey Canada HP1 Policy. Over the last three years, the OHF has trained close to seven hundred coaches at ten clinics.

The first stage of the HP1 program is attending an in-class seminar. This year, the OHF will host clinics in Toronto and Barrie, in June and July respectively. The Toronto clinic will be split over two weekends, June 9-11 and June 17-18, at Humber College. The Barrie clinic is July 6-9, at Georgian College. After the in-class portion of the program, coaches will complete a written assignment and receive feedback from a mentor. The final step is a practice and game assessment completed by an OHF trained evaluator.

Applications for the HP1 program are available on the OHF website under the Coaches Section or by clicking here. Acceptance is based on the level of hockey being coached next season. Priority will be given to those coaches who will require the certification for the 2017-18 season. The total registration fee for the clinic is $1000+tax and includes lunches/snacks, all seminar materials, written assignment evaluation, mentoring, and field evaluation. Transportation, dinners, and accommodation are the responsibility of the participant.
