WELCOME to the 2016-17 Hockey Season!
Stratford, ON - With the first puck drop for many teams taking place this weekend, there is no better time than now to provide an official WELCOME to the 2016-2017 Hockey Season!


ALLIANCE Hockey and our Member Associations would like to take this opportunity to WELCOME back returning participants and WELCOME all new participants!  We hope everyone has a safe and FUN hockey season!

About Travis Konecny
Travis Konecny (born March 11, 1997) is an ALLIANCE Hockey Alumnus having played for Team ALLIANCE U16 and minor hockey with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones and Elgin Middlesex Chiefs organizations.  Konecny was drafted first overall in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection by the Ottawa 67's.  Konecny is currently playing for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Konecny was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the first round (24th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Captained Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team to a gold medal at the 2014 U18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup in the Czech Republic and Slovakia … Won a bronze medal with Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team at the 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship in Finland … Captained Ontario at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Cape Breton, N.S.

About Lawson Crouse 
Lawson Crouse (born June 23, 1997) is an ALLIANCE Hockey Alumnus having played for Team ALLIANCE U16 and minor hockey with the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs organization.  Crouse was drafted fifth overall in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection by the Kingston Frontenacs.  Crouse is currently playing for the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).  Crouse was selected by the Florida Panthers in the first round (11th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and was traded to the Arizona Coyotes in August 2016.
