2017 Toyota Hockey Challenge - Nov. 19th
Sunday, November 19, 2017  10:00am, Kitchener Memorial Auditorium
Waterloo Wolves vs Cambridge Hawks - Minor Bantam AAA

Stratford, ON - Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) invited the Kitchener, Cambridge and Waterloo AAA Minor Bantam teams to participate in this year's Toyota Hockey Challenge. Each team played a home and away game to determine the two top teams to advance to the Toyota Hockey Challenge Championship Game to be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 10:00am at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.

It has now been determined that the Minor Bantam AAA teams from Cambridge and Waterloo will play in the 2017 Toyota Hockey Challenge Championship Game!

We invite everyone to come out to the game, see some great local hockey and cheer on your friends! We would request that you please bring non-perishable food items to support the local Food Bank as your entry to the game.  There will be a ton of prizes given away including free base hockey registrations from the Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo Minor Hockey Associations.

The winning team from the Toyota Hockey Challenge Championship Game will travel to Hokaido, Japan during March Break 2018, for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai All-Stars, expenses paid by TMMC.

March 2018 will mark the eleventh time a local team from the Waterloo Region has travelled to Japan for the exchange.  A return visit by a Japanese team will be hosted in March of 2019.  In 2017, the Tomakomai All-Stars traveled to Waterloo where they participated in the cultural exchange and also played two games against the Waterloo Wolves.  The Wolves were victorious in both of the hard fought and entertaining games played at the Waterloo Recreational Complex.

Good luck to both teams!
