Desjardins Insurance Teams up with House League Hockey
Desjardins Insurance has teamed up with over 400 house league hockey teams across the province this season to provide team sponsorships.

Each sponsored team will receive $600 in direct funding in exchange for applying a Desjardins Insurance patch on their jerseys. There are 409 teams sponsored in Ontario, with 89 of those teams from ALLIANCE Hockey.

The additional teams selected are with independent associations in communities where Desjardins Agents are located, the number of teams chosen is reflective of the number of Agents in Ontario.

The funding received can help offset some of the costs that occur during the regular season such as registration, tournament fees, and other expenses.

"Providing support to our grassroots level teams is always at the forefront of our programming.  We really appreciate having a partner like Desjardins Insurance helping to ensure that the minor hockey experience is more affordable," noted ALLIANCE Hockey Recreational Council Chair Michelle Harder.

The program is open to eligible House League teams of any age. Teams will be contacted by their governing body with information on how to register for the program.
