ALLIANCE Hockey Programming Information:
ALLIANCE Hockey offers various options for minor hockey participants at every age category from 5 - 20 years old!
Within these age divisions, ALLIANCE Hockey minor hockey Associations offer hockey for the following categories. All categories are recognized by Hockey Canada and the Ontario Hockey Federation.

House League

HL
|
ALLIANCE House League teams play in an in-city or local league with the participants playing against other House League Association teams. These teams may participate in sanctioned Hockey Canada or IIHF games and tournaments. Players are not boung by residential regulations at the House League Level. |
House League Select

HL Select
|
ALLIANCE House League Select teams that are made up of players that are from a sanctioned house league program. Players that do not participate in a sanctioned house program are not eligible for House League Select teams. These teams may participate in sanctioned Hockey Canada or IIHF games and tournaments. Players are not bound by residential regulations at the House League Select Level. |
Minor Development

ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Development teams consist of players who are not part of a House League or Representative Program. ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Development teams generally participate in an inter-city or in-city league and if are categorized as MD teams, are bound by residential regulations. In ALLIANCE Hockey, there are three MD Leagues including the Hamilton Hub Leage, the Forest City Hockey League and the Tri City Leage which feature teams from across the ALLIANCE. These teams may participate in sanctioned Hockey Canada or IIHF games and tournaments. |
A - AA

A - AA

ALLIANCE A - AA teams are teams that players participate on that are a representative - travel hockey team from a minor hockey association. Within the ALLIANCE, these teams play in the ALLIANCE Hockey Seeded League, which features two divisions - Bristol Division (A) and the Constellation Divistion (AA). These teams are "seeded" based on performance during the first half of the season. These teams may participate in sanctioned Hockey Canada and IIHF games and tournaments. Players are bound by residential regulations at the A and AA Levels. |

ALLIANCE Hockey AAA teams are made up of players who participate on a representative - travel hockey teams from a minor hockey association. Within the ALLIANCE, these teams play in the ALLIANCE Hockey Pavilion League. These teams may participate in sanctioned Hockey Canada or IIHF games and tournaments. Players are bound by residential regulations at the AAA level. This division is the highest category of minor hockey in the ALLIANCE OHF and Hockey Canada. |
Interesting ALLIANCE Hockey Facts:
- the ALLIANCE Membership is larger than eight (8) Hockey Canada (HC) Branches
- during mid-season, ALLIANCE teams will participate in approximately 2,500 games in one week or 10,000 in a month!
- the ALLIANCE is highly regarded for effective and efficient communication administrative procedures in amateur sport
- the ALLIANCE has relationships with international hockey contacts in Sweden, Finland, Norway, the United States, Japan and Denmark (just to name a few!)
