Crossover's (Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario)

Crossover Registration
No crossovers will be accepted after October 31st, 2018

ALLIANCE Hockey recognizes HCOP certification through any OHF Member Partner (GTHL/OMHA/OWHA/OHA) sanctioned Re-certification Clinic.

Please complete the ALLIANCE Hockey Officiating Crossover Registration and payment of $56.00 to the ALLIANCE Hockey Office by October 31st, 2018. You will not be able to complete your crossover registration without a current Police Record Check.  All officials who have a current Police Record Check on file are required to complete a Criminal Offense Declaration Form.

An Official paying the “Cross-Over” fee to ALLIANCE Hockey will be issued ALLIANCE Hockey Information package and if new to ALLIANCE Hockey, they will receive cresting and a card/number.

NEW - ALL OHA officials for the 2018-2019 season will be required to attend a minor hockey officiating in-class development session with one of the member partners (ALLIANCE/GTHL/NOHA/OWHA).  For all OHA crossovers, we ask that you complete the ALLIANCE Hockey Officiating Crossover Form.

Any ALLIANCE Hockey Official who has attended a Re-certification Clinic and not registered with the ALLIANCE is not eligible to officiate any ALLIANCE Hockey sanctioned games until such time as the Official has registered with the ALLIANCE.  Also, candidates for ALLIANCE Hockey Playdowns and OHF Championships will be selected from those referees who are registered by October 31, 2018.

Note for Officials Wishing to Crossover to the OMHA:
Effective August 31, 2014, the ‘Respect in Hockey’ initiative will require all Team Officials, On-ice Volunteers, On-Ice Officials and Parents to take the appropriate ‘Respect’ education.  Team Officials, On-ice Officials and On-ice volunteers will be required to complete the online Respect in Sport - Activity Leader Program or in-class Speak Out! certification.  This applies to all HCOP Officials over the age of 16 (as of December 31 of the Calendar Year). Officials who have completed the Activity Leader or Speak Out equivalent (in the role as a Team Official) are not required to complete this.
