2013 ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Midget AAA All-Star Weekend
2013 ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Midget AAA All-Star Weekend December 7-8, 2013 in Komoka, ON. Final two games:
2:30pm TEAM GREY vs TEAM BLUE  & 4:00pm Team NAVY vs Team WHITE

The weekend event will feature 64 of the top ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Midget AAA players participating in a tournament-style format, with each of the teams playing a total of 4 games.

The 2013 All-Star weekend follows in the footsteps of the 2012 All-Star Game held in London last season which featured multiple 2013 OHL draft selections.  The changes to the 2013 event provides double the number of players with a special development opportunity along with the experience of playing alongside their peers.

“It is a great experience for these players to come together over a weekend and be able to play with some of the top players in the ALLIANCE.  As part of the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence, the ALLIANCE Hockey All-Star Weekend will help to develop and prepare these players for short-term, high performance competition.  We have assembled a great group of Staff and combined with the talent on the ice, it should make for an exciting weekend of hockey,” said ALLIANCE Hockey Executive Director Tony Martindale.

The All-Star Weekend is a team effort and would not be possible without the support of all of the Minor Midget AAA teams in the ALLIANCE Hockey League.  Along with the teams, a huge thank you goes out to the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs who have stepped up in a big way to co-host the weekend event and provide a fantastic experience for all involved.
