Kitchener, ON – The best 1998 born players are set to converge on the
Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex May 8-11, 2014 as they participate in the
four-day OHL Gold Cup. OHL fans can
catch a glimpse of the future OHL talent as many of the 2014 OHL Priority
Selections will lace up and showcase their talents on one of the 8 teams
competing in the OHL Gold Cup. The OHL
Gold Cup is also an opportunity for Hockey Canada to evaluate the players for
potential invites to this summer Under 17 Camp in Calgary.
“The OHL Gold Cup is a great opportunity for all OHL teams to see how their top prospects stack up against the best players in Ontario,” said Kitchener Rangers Head Coach Troy Smith. “Fans can expect to see some outstanding talent and some great hockey over those four days.”
