ALLIANCE Hockey is excited to wrap up the 2025-26 season with the 2026 ALLIANCE Hockey Championships and events! The Championships and events are a highlight of the season and will be hosted in locations across ALLIANCE Hockey and on dates specific to the Division.  

Across Ontario, the heartbeat of minor hockey isn’t found in the bright lights of championships or packed arenas — it lives in the quiet dedication of volunteers who give their time, energy, and passion to ensure the game continues to thrive for the next generation.

The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), in collaboration with its four Ontario Minor Hockey Members, has received approval from Hockey Canada to continue and refine the Under-9 (U9) Full-Ice Hockey pilot for an additional two-year period.

As we move through February, the focus shifts in two directions: finishing strong in the postseason and beginning to think ahead to next season. For teams heading into the postseason, this month’s featured resources on The Coaches Site focus on pace, pressure, and performance. 

High Performance 1 (HP1) Coaching Program clinic dates and application form are now available for the2026 summer period. The High Performance 1 Coaching Program is an enriched development experience for coaches, which features online virtual, pre-recorded and in-class sessions. A post training written assignment and field evaluation will complete the certification process.
