
2025-26 ALLIANCE HOCKEY-DAIRY FARMERS OF ONTARIO SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The ALLIANCE Hockey-Dairy Farmers of Ontario Scholarship reflects the achievements of minor hockey participants who are committed to their community, athletic ability, and academic achievement. ALLIANCE Hockey is proud to partner with Dairy Farmers of Ontario through a scholarship program which awards ALLIANCE Hockey members with $2,500 each for their outstanding commitment to:
Community Service: contributing to the wellbeing of local communities through volunteer work and extracurricular activities.
Athletics: demonstrating strong performance and growth in hockey, along with a passion for the game of hockey and sporting community.
Academics: showing dedication to school, achieving strong grades and being a leader in school activities.
The ALLIANCE Hockey Scholarship Program awards a total of two scholarships valued at $2,500 each annually. It reflects the achievements of young hockey players who are committed to their community, athletic ability, and academic achievement. Each recipient will receive financial support towards their post-secondary education. Bursaries will be issued to the applicant’s post-secondary institution.
APPLICATION DETAILS
Eligibility - All applicants must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Applications may only be submitted for active participants (players, team officials, on-ice officials) aged up to 20 years and must have been a registered participant with ALLIANCE Hockey for a minimum of five years.
2. Must be in good standing with ALLIANCE Hockey.
3. Confirmed to attend a post-secondary institution for their first year during the 2026-27 school year.
4. Maintain a high standard of academic excellence.
5. Active in their local community programs (any community sport or social programs).
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates must complete the online application form and submit it to ALLIANCE Hockey by 12:00 p.m. on April 1, 2026.
Applications are encouraged to include as much detail as possible about school and extracurricular involvement.
Each application will be reviewed by a panel and only the successful applicants will be contacted by ALLIANCE Hockey.
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Please provide the following documents to strengthen your application:
» One page letter outlining request (summary of application, community involvement, hockey experience, academics, extracurriculars, etc.).
» Proof of academic record (report card/transcript).
» Supporting letter from one of the following: coach, association or schoolteacher.
» Any other supporting documents.
Pease note: You are not eligible to enter if you are an ALLIANCE Hockey employee and/or Member of the Board of Directors or family member of an ALLIANCE Hockey employee and/or Member of the Board of Directors.
