Stratford, ON - ALLIANCE Hockey is excited to announce
that participating Member Associations will be hosting “Bring a Buddy to the
Rink” Events November 18-20, 2016!
The Bring a Buddy to the
Rink program, designed to provide Minor Hockey Associations with a platform to
introduce new participants to the game, is a joint-effort between ALLIANCE
Hockey and ALLIANCE Hockey Member Associations.
The program goal is to host a ‘try hockey for free’ session for kids mainly between the ages of 4 to 8. This event is a perfect opportunity to introduce new families to minor hockey.
ALLIANCE Hockey encouraged currently registered participants to invite their non-hockey playing buddies to join them at the rink in November!
ALLIANCE Hockey Bring a Buddy to the Rink is the fourth phase of our Grow the Game initiatives, which include:
Phase 1 - Welcome Banners distributed to all ALLIANCE Hockey home rinks,
Phase 2 - Welcome Video aired on all ALLIANCE Hockey websites,
Phase 3 - Jersey Day, Friday, November 18, 2016,
Phase 4 - Bring a Buddy to the Rink,
Phase 5 - Equipment Distribution
Along with the ice time, all participants will receive jerseys and special prizes!
Congratulations to all of the current participants and their Buddies - have a great time on the ice!
