Welcome to the 2023-2024 ALLIANCE Hockey Season! October 2nd is the first official day of the 2023-2024 minor hockey season and we could not be more excited to welcome everyone to the rink! The 2023-2024 season promises to be full of new opportunities for players, officials, team staff, families and administrators.  We encourage you to keep perspective and enjoy the moments whether it be bonding with teammates, honing your skills, visiting new places, calling a great game or capturing your first goal.

Since the Czechia’s National Women’s team began playing in the World Championship in 1999, the team has medaled twice: in 2022 & 2023. Those are the first medals in the history of Czechia’s National Women’s team program.   What’s significant about that is those are the first two seasons the team has played under Head Coach Carla MacLeod. What’s the secret to such an impressive turnaround on the world stage? Being authentic.

The Ontario Hockey Federation has provided the first of three surveys that will be shared over the course of the 2023-2024 season. The purpose of this particular survey is to understand the experiences Associations and/or its registration community (i.e. parents/guardians of the players) of the new Playing Regulations.  

The ALLIANCE Hockey Officiating Program Recertification Package which includes registration and clinic information for the 2023-2024 season is available now! The 2023-2024 Recertification Information has been distributed via email to all previously registered officials. ALLIANCE Hockey is excited to welcome you back for another great season of minor hockey.

Hockey Canada, Bauer, the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) are pleased to announce that the online registration period for new-to-hockey families wishing to participate in the 2023-24 NHL/NHLPA First Shift is OPEN! The NHL/NHLPA First Shift is open to children, between the ages of 6 and 10 years old*, who have never previously enrolled in minor hockey within Canada or the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program. *To be eligible to participate, children must be born between January 1, 2013 and May 1, 2018.
