ON – ALLIANCE Hockey introduced today the tenth and final edition of the Minor Midget
AAA Top 5 Rankings for the 2013-14 regular season.
The weekly rankings of the ALLIANCE Hockey Top 5 teams were selected by a panel of Coaches and Scouts and have been published every Monday over the last 11 weeks (1 week break during the Holiday season). This will be the last ranking of the season as the Playdowns begin this week.
The Playdowns should prove to be very exciting as the parity amongst the teams has definitely been noted throughout the regular season. All 12 teams will complete in the Playdowns with the top 2 finishers automatically qualifying for the 2014 OHL Cup. The 3rd and 4th place teams will playdown in a best 2 of 3 Series for the third guaranteed ALLIANCE Hockey entry into the OHL Cup. The 4th place ALLIANCE finisher will play a game on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Toronto with the winner earning a place in the OHL Cup. Best of luck to all teams!
