2022 ALLIANCE Hockey AGM Concludes in Niagara
The 2022 ALLIANCE Hockey AGM, celebrating 29 years of ALLIANCE Hockey, was hosted on Saturday, June 4, 2022 in Niagara-on-the-Lake with more than 160 members participating, including three Honourary Life Members.

The Annual General Meeting was opened with an address from current President, Larry Moreland, who welcomed the members to the first in-person AGM in two years and thanked them for their tremendous efforts over the past few especially demanding seasons.  "Over the coming season we will review our current structure as it pertains to the Member Associations," noted President Moreland. "We will be meeting with each of you to determine what your challenges are, while working toward improving ALLIANCE Hockey for all of our participants."

Recognition of the 2022 ALLIANCE Hockey Championship-winning teams was provided on behalf of Championship Committee Chair, Jennifer MacDonald.

Executive Reports, Committee Reports, and Amendments were provided throughout the Meeting which concluded with the introduction of the 2022-2023 Executive Committee .

The Executive Director's Report focused on the achievements and challenges experienced over the 2021-22 season.  The Report also noted the direction that the organization will follow in the coming seasons and the associated work involved to ensure the intended path is followed.

Numerous ALLIANCE Hockey Executive positions were open for election including: President, Vice-President Region #2, Vice-President Region #4, and Representative Council Chairperson.  

All positions were filled by acclamation except for the position of Vice-President Region #2 which was appointed by the Executive Committee.

The positions of Treasurer, Chairperson of Appeals and Technical Director-Officials were also appointed and confirmed.

Congratulations to the successful incumbents and thank you to all those who stepped forward to pursue a position on the Executive.
