OHF Welcomes New Technical Director
News Release (NR 13.07)
CAMBRIDGE, ON - The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has gone through an extensive search to find the right candidate for the position of Technical Director.

A newly adapted position within the OHF, that is responsible to lead the OHF and its Member Partners in the transitioning field of development in hockey while maintaining our prominence at the National level.  With a significant number of qualified applicants the selection process over the past month was a positive experience.  The OHF is pleased to welcome Jeff Stewart to the OHF team as the Technical Director.

Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the OHF having worked with the GTHL over the past 13 years.  His position of Manager Membership Service and Events had him involved in operating and overseeing the major events of the GTHL as well as the coach and officiating development fields.  It is Jeff’s personal approach in building positive lasting relationships with the volunteers and staff in the game that makes him the ideal candidate to lead the OHF internally and nationally.

Jeff will be an asset to the OHF team as we work with Hockey Canada and the Member Partners to meeting the changing landscape of development in the game of hockey while maintaining a focus on the participant.

Jeff will begin full time with the Office on January 2, 2014 and can be reached at that time at 226-533-9071 or [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.  During the month of December Jeff will be working with the OHF and also the GTHL to ensure a smooth transition for both of our organizations.  Please join me in welcoming Jeff Stewart to the OHF Office.

The OHF is one of three Hockey Canada Branches operating in the Province of Ontario and is the largest of all thirteen across Canada. The OHF is comprised of seven Member Partners and has a membership base that represents over forty percent of Hockey Canada.
