Hockey kicked off the 2015-2016 hockey season with the Bantam AAA Face-Off
September 25 - 27 in Hamilton the home of the Huskies. Each team played 4 games over the course of
the weekend which included a seminar on what Scouts look for in players. Matt Turek a former Guelph Storm Player, 11
year pro in North America and Europe and current Scout with the Hamilton
Bulldogs made the presentation to all 11 teams.
Tony Martindale, Executive Director of ALLIANCE Hockey was in attendance for the weekend and liked what he saw, “This is a good age group for ALLIANCE Hockey with quite a bit of depth and skill, parity is definitely better than in previous years it will be fun to watch these players over the course of the season.”
Many of the top players will be participating in the Bantam AAA All-Star Game on December 5th at the Waterloo Recreation Complex
