Brantford, ON - FUN, FUN and more FUN will
be on the agenda for the 2018 ALLIANCE Hockey IP Festival scheduled for April 7-8, 2018 in Brantford, ON! The IP Festival
is a year-end celebration for players who have been learning the game all
season and where fun and fair play are highlighted.
"The goal of the ALLIANCE Hockey IP Festival has always been to ensure that all players have an enjoyable experience," said Tony Martindale, ALLIANCE Hockey Executive Director. "The Festival places an emphasis on having fun and by using blue (4oz) pucks, the mini nets, the buzzer system, etc. this goal will be achieved."
Following in the footsteps of the Hockey Canada policy which mandates that Initiation-aged players receive age-appropriate programming on cross-ice or half-ice surfaces, the IP Festival will continue to be player-focused and
provide an exciting finish to the hockey season.
A total of 16 teams will each play 4 fun games over the 2-day event held at the Brantford & District Civic Centre.
