2019 Bantam AAA Face-Off Concludes
Submitted By ALLIANCE Hockey on Sunday, September 15, 2019
Stratford, ON - ALLIANCE Hockey kicked off the 2019-2020 hockey season with the Bantam AAA Face-Off September 13-15 in Essex, ON, hosted in part by the Sun County Panthers.  Each team played 4 games over the course of the weekend and also attended a seminar that provided information and motivation for players regarding the next steps of the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence.

Special Guests of the Seminar included Windsor Spitfires GM Bill Bowler along with current players and ALLIANCE Hockey alumni Chris Playfair (Waterloo Wolves), Grayson Ladd (Chatham Kent Cyclones) and Matthew Maggio (Sun County Panthers).  The Spitfire players spoke about their experiences in giving back to the community and playing in the OHL.  Our thanks to GM Bowler and the players for attending!

“The hockey this weekend was tremendous and the Sun County volunteers lead by Shannah Dalpe were awesome hosts.  We look forward to watching this talented 2005 birth year develop over the course of the season.  It will be an exciting race to the finish with there being so much parity among the teams," said Jennifer MacDonald, ALLIANCE Hockey Region 5 Vice-President.
