A Message from ALLIANCE Hockey
As we continue to navigate our path during
this COViD-19 pandemic, it has been heartwarming to see all the positive
stories of people lifting each other up and helping those in need within
ALLIANCE Hockey and throughout Canada. There
is no doubt that it is during these unprecedented times that we need to stick
together(symbolically) and inspire each other through leadership and purpose.
Just over a month ago most of us were participating in some form of hockey while anticipating the post season. So much has changed since then; school has been postponed, the hockey season has been cancelled, we have been asked to stay home and adjust to living in different ways. What we need to keep in mind is that we are all part of a much bigger team. The hockey community and our teammates are valuable support systems. By staying at home, practicing physical distancing and adhering to all the messaging from the medical community, we are truly working together as one big team. By being great teammates and leaders, we can assist in conquering the challenges we face with COVID-19.
Take advantage of this time to focus on individual skills as well; work on your game, shoot pucks, keep up with your fitness, eat healthy and inspire others to do the same.
A great example is the Kitchener Peewee payers having fun and keeping connected with each other while staying safe at home!
Please continue to share your stories and show us how you are conquering COVID-19 by being a great teammate! Check out our feeds and please tag us in your posts! #ALLIANCEHockeyTeammates
Thank you to our Member Associations, Coaches, Players, etc. for doing everything you can to support one another. We will get through this together and be better for what we have learned along the way.
Stay safe!
The Team from ALLIANCE Hockey
