UPDATE: ALLIANCE Hockey Vaccination Policy
The following information is an update to the ALLIANCE Hockey Vaccination Policy for the 2021-22 season:

RE: 2010 Birth Year Participants (turning 12 on or after January 1, 2022)
2010-birth year participants will be afforded a grace period of 12 weeks from the date of their 12th birthday to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Once the individual reaches 12 weeks after their birthday, they must provide proof of vaccination in accordance with the ALLIANCE Hockey Vaccination Policy.

Re: Participants Aged 5-11
Vaccines are the most effective tool to protect ourselves and our participants from COVID-19. We have seen the positive outcome vaccination has had for our teams who are fully vaccinated.
The COVID-19 vaccine has been approved in Canada for youth aged 5-11 in Canada. It is important for your child to get fully vaccinated to have the best protection against COVID-19. It is recommended that children aged 5-11 receive two doses, 8 weeks apart for optimal protection.
We highly recommend that all eligible participants obtain their vaccination for the health of our participants and the best chance for the continuation of our hockey season.

COVID-19 & Travel Outside of Canada / Re-Entry into Canada
Participants under 12 who are unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated must follow specific requirements when you return to or enter Canada. As of Dec 7, 2021, this includes 14 days of isolation where they are not to attend school or sporting events. For this reason, these participants will not be permitted to participate in ALLIANCE sanctioned activities for 14 days after the date of return to Canada.

If you have plans to travel outside of Canada, please familiarize yourselves with the information provided by the Government of Canada: COVID-19 Travellers entering Canada

Please also continue to follow the COVID-19 precautionary guidelines which include:
· Honestly answer screening questions. Do not attend hockey if you have any new or worsening symptoms. If in doubt, sit out!
· Wear face covering when in facilities. Participants are required to wear masks in the dressing rooms until they are ready to go on the ice with their helmets on.
· Please protect yourself, your family, and your community by socially distancing from anyone outside of your household.
· Wash your hands often.

The ALLIANCE Hockey Vaccination Policy will be reviewed prior to the 2022-23 Season.
