The
2022 ALLIANCE Hockey MD Championships were hosted in London April 8-10, 2022 by the Greater London Hockey Association. A total of 83 teams from across Southwestern Ontario competed for one of the eighteen respective division Championship titles.
The Championships took place on 8 ice pads throughout the weekend across the City of London.
"Congratulations to all of the participating teams at the MD Championships! It was awesome to have the season wrap up with such exciting hockey, especially considering that we didn't know if these Championships would even happen at the beginning of the season," said ALLIANCE Hockey Region 5 Vice President Jennifer MacDonald. "It is a large undertaking to host this event and we appreciate everyone's hard work and again, congratulate all the teams on a great season."
ALLIANCE Hockey was also able to recognize the regular season MD Champions and Finalists by providing their respective awards at the event. "We are grateful to be back playing the game we love. The smiles we have seen from the players and families this weekend are a reflection of how important these Championships are and how much everyone has missed them. It is good to be back," noted ALLIANCE Hockey Executive Director Tony Martindale who was on hand to present the awards.
