Hockey Fights Cancer Day Raises Over $60K for Canadian Cancer Society and Stedman Community Hospice
With tremendous participation from our Brantford Minor Hockey Association (BMHA) players, volunteers, donors, and community as a whole, we are extremely proud of the success generated from our second annual BMHA Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC) Day. Following a 12-game event in 2022 which raised $21K, this year’s 23-game event shattered our goal and raised over $60K. All proceeds will be donated directly to both the Canadian Cancer Society and Stedman Community Hospice.
The 2023 HFC Day will be remembered as an important milestone in BMHA’s endeavor to help honor and support friends and families in our community who have been impacted by cancer. With your continued support, we certainly hope to translate this year’s success to future HFC events which will help the cancer fighters of our community and further enlighten our younger generation of the world outside of hockey.
We would like to thank our BMHA community for all your support and especially to our donors for their overwhelming generosity, which played a significant role in the success of this event.
Sincerely,
HFC Committee
CONGRATULATIONS BRANTFORD MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION AND EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THIS AMAZING ENDEAVOUR!
