Desjardins Insurance has teamed up with over 400 house league hockey teams across the province this season to provide team sponsorships.
Each sponsored team receives $600 in direct funding in exchange for applying a Desjardins Insurance patch on their jerseys. There are over 400 teams sponsored in Ontario, with over 80 of those teams from ALLIANCE Hockey.
Sponsored teams are from minor hockey associations in communities where Desjardins Agents are located, the number of teams sponsored is reflective of the number of Agents in Ontario.
The funding received can help offset some of the costs that occur during the regular season such as registration, tournament fees, and other expenses. A set of brand new pucks is also provided to each participating team.
