Terry Swistun embodies the dedication and spirit of what it means to be a volunteer in minor hockey.  For over five years, Swistun he has been a pillar within the Burlington Lions Optimist Hockey Association as a Trainer, who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the success and well-being of players.

"Terry's commitment is unmatched. He arrives to the rink before anyone else, he is the last to leave, he meticulously prepares and maintains equipment...," noted a team parent .  "His seemingly bottomless 'treasure chest' of tools and equipment ensures that every player has what they need to play."

Swistun is also known for fostering a positive environment through clear team communication, keeping families informed and players motivated. His calm presence is extraordinary and beneficial when attending to injured players and providing support.

"Organization is Terry's middle name.
