Midget AAA Face Off Concludes in Brantford
Submitted By ALLIANCE Hockey on Monday, September 30, 2019
Stratford, ON - All 8 ALLIANCE Hockey Midget AAA teams were in action September 27-29 in the season-opening Face Off event held at the Wayne Gretzky Sport Centre in Brantford. Each team played 4 League games over the course of the weekend.

End-to-end action and exceptional goaltending were common themes as four of the sixteen games advanced to overtime, with two of those games eventually decided in shoot-outs.

“Based on the play this weekend, the 2019 Midget AAA League is very competitive and there is some great parity.  All of the teams proved that anyone can win on any given night,” said Senior Vice President Ray Kosumovic.  "There is a long season ahead and much more exciting hockey to come."

The 2019 ALLIANCE Hockey Midget AAA All-Star Game will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019, 1:45pm at Southwood Arena, Woodstock.

The ALLIANCE Hockey Midget AAA League regular season runs until February 2, 2020 and Playdowns begin February 3, 2020.  The 2020 Telus Cup Regionals will be held in Toronto March 30th - April 5th hosted by the Toronto Nationals (GTHL).
