                NOTE:

                * All Team Officials require Respect In Sport (RIS)/Speak Out certification. (Online, not included in clinics)

                * The “Old NCCP” Intermediate and Level Coach Certifications are acceptable at all levels excluding Head Coaches at M/Bantam - Midget AAA

                * All A, AA, AAA Coaches require the Body Checking module at Minor Bantam and above.  All MD Coaches require Body Checking at Bantam and above.

                * ALLIANCE Hockey Coach 1 (IP), Coach 2 (CS & CL), Development 1 (DS1, LC & IC) and High Performance 1 (AD) Clinics include the Body Checking module (as of later 1999)

                * NCCP clinic terminology has changed as of the 2013-14 season. Please reference the NCCP Terminology Guide below

* Refer to the ALLIANCE Hockey Handbook for all Team Official requirements, including Trainer requirements.

                * All Trained Coach 1 & Coach 2 Coaches must complete the online Hockey University Modules (HU) from the 2013-14 season & on.  Once the participant has registered for the Coach 1 & Coach 2 clinic you will be provided the link for Hockey Canada University Modules.

                * 2004 & younger birth year participants must have Parent RIS 


In Order to be consistent with Hockey Canada and the Coaching Association of Canada NCCP terminology, we have transitioned the terminology used for our programs as of the 2014-2015 season as outlined below.

Terminology Guide:

Community Sport Stream

1)      Intro to Coach - Previously referred to as HCIP – Hockey Canada Initiation Program

2)      Coach 2 – Coach Level - Previously referred to as Coach Level or Coach Stream

 

Competitive – Competition Introduction Stream (Comp-INT)

1)      Development 1 – D1 - Previously referred to as Development Stream 1 or Intermediate

 

High Performance – Competition Development Stream (Comp-DEV)

1)      High Performance 1 – HP1

2)      High Performance 2 – HP2
